Sitting at the hospital

December 10, 2013 at 5:51 am (Uncategorized)

We are here, all three of us, at the hospital waiting for shift change so that Sarah can be started on this delivery. Macey and Reagan are at my parents house not going back to sleep like they were hopping, sorry guys.

Sarah is just laying here answering text messages and watching tv. Labor hasn’t really set in yet and may not for a while since Reagan took all day during the his delivery. She is going to try to brave this birth with out any epidural to block the pain. I am so proud of her.

I am sitting next to her waiting for my new baby boy. I haven’t had any sleep yet and am not tierd either; this alertness is not just a result of personal excitement. Last night, I had for the first time in a while a large amount of caffine after dinner and that set me up for no sleep.

I am going to  cut this short and get back to enjoying my time with my wife. I’ll write later to let everyone know how Harvey’s birth day went.
