Orange Lake
Last night was great; Sarah and I went to Orange Lake in down town New Port Richey where we/I was hoping to get some chicken on a stick over at the KIA fest thing at the park. Unfortunately there was no chicken on a stick and all the other food was way more than I wanted to pay for something that would not fill me up. We walked around to see all the vendors and what they had to offer as far as foods and crafts; there were only two booths that had anything cool and they were the hot sauce booths. Sarah being the super brave girl that she is went ahead and right off the start tried the hottest sauce offered at the
stand… se finished off Macey’s sippy cup. I don’t generally try those things because years ago when the old group used to hang out we all went to the Sponge Docks and tasted a hot sauce that we at the time regretted with our lives. Less than a drop on the tip of a pretzel stick and we were all in the bathroom and water fountains rinsing our mouths for like twenty minutes, and I love hot stuff. Back to last night I did try the step down from the hottest sauce this guy had and the flavor wasn’t all that great but it was nice and hot. After we walked and saw everything at the festival thing we were still hungry and I said lets get out of here and get something to eat somewhere. I first thought may be a sit down place, but as we were leaving some good Samaritans informed us that the fire works show was going to be happening later. Heck Yeah. So we went over to Burger King to eat quickly and still have time to get a parking spot and good seat. Never again will I do that; for Sarah and I to eat was $15… for real for a few dollars more we could have had great food else where. So mad. We went back to Orange Lake after we ate crappy fast food and by luck found a parking spot right up by the lake and a spot to lay out our blanket with a great view; this was at like eight o’clock. Sarah, Macey and I enjoyed ourselves for a bit and when nine rolled around and no fire works it was okay, nine thirty Macey exploded into a temper tantrum that lasted until minutes before the show started which was ten! Macey watched the show and either liked it or was paralyzed with fear, Sarah kept Macey’s ears cover though most of the show and I covered mine a couple of times. It was fun over all.
Oh my goodness before I for get… We are having a little baby BOY!!! We found out Thursday the 24th. I am so excited and I want to name him Amadeo Eli Trump. There are a few other names in the mix but Amadeo is my number one along with Happy. Amadeo is an Italian name that means defender. So cool I am going to have a boy.
